Cypress Products
March 11, 2009 – 12:28 am
I finally took some photos of the beautiful Cypress Boxes and Albums that I have for my samples. Many of you will receive Cypress products as part of your wedding package. Here is an opportunity to see some up close, as many of you are out of state and I may or may not have had these when we met!
I love working with Cypress for so many reasons. First and most important they make a fantastic product that is to be cherished for many generations. The quality is some of the finest I have seen. They also value their employees and care about the world around us.
Quick facts from Cypress on their products…
We do not use or sell any animal products.
*We use only non-toxic, archival glue.
*Our binders board (used in the construction of album covers, boxes, and folios) is made from 100% recycled content.
*Our products are made in the USA, handcrafted by artisans who receive fair wages.
*We reuse and recycle everything possible, from paper and fabric scraps to shipping boxes to cans/bottles in our lunchroom.
*Our office, kitchen, and restroom paper products are made from recycled content.
*We are working to reduce our carbon footprint by saving electricity through the use of efficient long-lasting fluorescent lighting and reminders on all of our light switches to conserve energy.
Our Album Pages & Museum Board Mats are…
*Acid-free, which keeps your photos in a PH-neutral, archival environment.
*Tree-free, made from 100% cotton linters, which are a waste byproduct of the textile industry.
*Chlorine bleach-free, keeping harmful chemicals out of our homes, not to mention our water sources.
*Sourced from environmentally conscious suppliers. Our mat board and paper are made at a mill that generates its own hydroelectric power. They use their own water source to create the energy they use, thereby preserving the public source.
