Awards

Some exciting news came for me today :) …….

“Andrea Casey is an Award Winning Member of the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association based out of New York, United States”

As it now states on their website.

Two of my images placed in the {AG}WPJA 2008 contest!

Category was “Emotion” for both images.

The first image was 12th place and the second image was 20th place.

I must say Lauren had me crying at this reception. Normally, I am only crying at the ceremony!!

Lauren- you guys were so wonderful to photograph and some of my favorite images are from your wedding.

I am very happy to have been recognized for my work.

Holly & Chris

January 20, 2009 – 9:25 pm

Holly and Chris were married on January 10th in beautiful Skaneateles, NY. The ceremony and reception were held at The Lodge at Welch Allen. It was a bit too chilly to keep the wedding party outside for any extended amount of time, but Holly and Chris were great sports and toughed it out! They decided to do all of their formal photos before the ceremony and it was such a great idea! We were able to walk around a bit downtown and really make use of the precious daylight! These two really thought of everything while planning this wedding, from the table decorations and program BOOK (yes it was a book and I really enjoyed reading it WOW…) to the never ending food and specialty drinks. This was just a fantastic time and I cannot thank you enough for sharing this day with us. Also, a big thanks to my very good friend and photographer Laure Lillie for shooting the day with me!

Holly and Chris~ I hope you had a wonderful cruise and enjoyed the warm weather :)
