WPJA and [AG]WPJA acceptance!

Very exciting news for me came today!!!!
I have been accepted into the Wedding Photojournalist Association and The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association! I initially was going to apply to only the Artistic Guild, but I thought what the heck I will submit my work to both and see what happens….
I did not hear from them for a while and thought maybe I did not make the cut…. and then the email came today :)
Here is a little on the organizations from their websites if you are not sure what I am jabbering about!

So that’s my news for tonight back to editing……and freezing in my *office* as Ryan will not let me put the heat over 62 degrees!

Nikki and Chris

Lots of fun last weekend with Nikki and Chris out at Chittenango Falls State Park. I had a great time photographing them and they has some fun in the leaves! Nikki and Chris will be married next September at Ventosa Vineyard in the Finger Lakes.
I am very excited to be working with you guys!
Thanks for the nice morning :)
Here are a few from their shoot!
Enjoy~

Alexis and Joe!

Well—I have to say this is by far my favorite time of the year for engagement sessions. Actually, it is just my favorite time of the year period! This has been one of the most beautiful fall seasons and I have taken full advantage! Friday morning was a really fun shoot with Alexis and Joe. We spent the morning up at Green Lakes State Park and it was perfect all around! Alexis and Joe are such a cute couple and I know their wedding next summer will be a fun one! Thanks for a great morning guys!
Enjoy~

Nicole & Joe (not in the rain)

Joe and Nicole were married on October 3rd in Syracuse, NY. It was a great day all around and no rain! Not that a little rain would have stopped this group from having a good time! Seriously, my face hurt at the end of the night from laughing and smiling all day :)
I may have gone a tad overboard on the photos for this post …I had 10+ more I wanted to put in here but thought it may be a bit excessive! Nicole has a very talented mother and aunt who hand made many of the garments that Nicole wore. Including her absolutely beautiful wedding gown, embellished shoes, hand bag, and the list goes on. There were so many small details that meant something special to them. It is things like this that make me love my work even more.
Nicole and Joe …what can I say…I had the best time at your reception! You both have amazing families and friends that love you both so much.
I wish you all the best :)
